Selena Gomez takes us back in time with new music video, “Bad Liar”
In Selena Gomez’s new music video, “Bad Liar”, we are brought back to the 70’s, which showcases Selena at school, catching her dad with a teacher.
The music video was heavily teased and was long awaited by fans on Twitter.
Selena’s new MV also triggered major throwbacks to her acting days on “Wizards of Waverly Place”. In “Bad Liar”, she plays four different characters.
It makes the video quite confusing at the beginning and leaves the viewer wondering what kind of message she is trying to deliver.
However, the song itself is phenomenal and probably one of Selena’s best works. It is based around Talking Heads’ 1977 hit, “Psycho Killer”. The rhythm is so catchy and a song that I would dance to when nobody is watching.
At the end of the video, it teases at something about ‘fetish’ which is apparently coming soon.
